FAQs
Pet Care Questions: What You Need to Know
We’ve gathered the most common questions from local pet owners about our services and policies. If your question isn’t answered here, please contact our team directly.
What vaccinations are required for my dog to attend daycare or boarding?
We require up-to-date DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvo), Rabies, and Bordetella. These protocols help protect all dogs in our care and are strictly enforced for both daycare and overnight boarding.
Do you accept all dog breeds, including those commonly restricted at other facilities?
Yes, we welcome all breeds, including Staffordshire Terriers and large breeds like Great Danes. Our facility in Pocatello does not impose breed restrictions, providing a safe space for every dog.
Is there an extra charge for administering medications or handling special diets?
No, we never charge for administering medications or preparing specialized or raw diets. This is part of our commitment to affordable, worry-free pet care for Bannock County families.
How often will my dog go outside during their stay?
All boarding and daycare dogs receive at least 10 outdoor potty breaks and play breaks every day. We believe frequent exercise and socialization are key to a happy, healthy stay.
Can my dogs stay together if I have more than one?
Absolutely. We board family dogs together to minimize stress and provide comfort. This practice helps your pets feel more secure while away from home.
What is the check-in process for new dogs? Is a temperament test required?
New dogs are observed during their first visit to determine the best playgroup fit. We use our 'Teenager' and 'Napper' group system instead of formal temperament testing, which keeps the process simple and welcoming.
What are your hours, and are you open on holidays?
We are open every day of the year from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, including all holidays. Our schedule supports Pocatello’s busy professionals and travelers who need reliable care any day.
Do you offer cat boarding or just dog services?
At this time, we do not offer cat boarding. Our space is optimized for dogs. However, we do provide feline grooming by appointment, with pricing based on coat condition.
